The proceedings of NIMACON 2023, the 22nd International Conference / Nigerian Materials Congress of the Materials Science and Technology Society of Nigeria (MSN), organised in conjunction with the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Edo State University Uzairue (EDSU) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), and held at the Aliko Dangote Auditorium, Edo State University Uzairue, from 13 to 17 November 2023. The conference theme was "Advancement in Materials Science and Technology, Innovation, Challenges, and Opportunities for Sustainable Development". The book carries 27 full papers spanning bioremediation and soil amendment, biochar, polymer and natural-fibre composites, construction materials, nanoparticle synthesis, bioceramics, adsorbents for water treatment, and trace-metal analysis of foods and water.
