About this volume
Volume II of the proceedings of NIMACON 2016, the 15th Annual International Conference of the Materials Science and Technology Society of Nigeria (MSN), hosted with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, at ABU Hotels, Kongo, Zaria, from 21 to 25 November 2016.
The conference theme was "Engineering Materials and Solid Minerals Development: Panacea to the National Economic Diversification", with particular attention to using the country's solid minerals to produce engineering materials. The volume carries technical papers on building materials, corrosion inhibition, the iron and steel industry, coal and mineral processing, effluent treatment, thin films, polymer-clay nanocomposites, alloys and composites, and related fields.
